JACK LAMBERT

ARCHITECT

 

Jack is an ARB registered architect with over 10 years of experience in the industry who has also spent time working on-site as a craftsman. He holds BSc (Hons) and MArch degrees in Architecture from Welsh school of Architecture (Cardiff University) where he was awarded a double commendation for his design thesis and dissertation. He went on to complete his professional practice studies at London Met.

Prior to joining Workshop collaborative Jack worked for several award winning practices in London and the South West leading the design on a wide range or arts, residential, heritage and commercial projects. 

Jack has also spent time working in the deserts of the American south west. During his time there he worked on-site building affordable straw bale housing, this helped him to develop particular expertise in the use of straw-bale construction, natural plasters and adobe.

Jack is a strong advocate of community and user driven development that prioritises the social and emotional well being of people and the long-term sustainability of places. He is passionate about furthering Workshop Collaborative's involvement in projects that help the community and provide opportunities for positive social and environmental change.
