Luke has over 15 years experience in a variety of craft-based industries. Starting out as an industrial and commercial screen printer, he has also worked with ceramics, as a guitar maker, and managed the workshop of a successful shoe making business. Formally trained as a musician, his degree work was largely based around research into the construction of musical instruments from around the world. This helped to develop a keen understanding of different making approaches and possibilities.

Luke's position with WoCo has enabled him to expand and research further into traditional and contemporary craftsmanship, with a main focus on carpentry and joinery. Working alongside designers, and undertaking design work himself, Luke strives for high quality in finish and construction while honouring the aesthetic ideology of the project.
