WOODROAST CAFE

DARTMOUTH, DEVON

Completed in 2013, Woodroast was our first in a series of collaborative projects with Italian Food Heroes. We were asked to design and make a coherent, unique and informal interior including the bar and furniture for the cafe. Using a simple and robust palette of oak and aluminium, an informal modular language was established. All of the components were pre-fabricated in our Devon workshops, allowing greater control over the final finish, reducing time on site and maximising material efficiency.

We also made a series of branded oak crates for displaying their products.

The Woodroast Cafe and wider Italian Food Heroes brand continues to enjoy success in the South West.
